I COMMEND MY SPIRIT (2024)
"I Commend My Spirit" is a choral motet for four voices (SATB) written for the Office of Compline. The text, written by the composer, is written using paraphrases from Psalm 31, The Song of Simeon, as well as prayers from the St. Gregory Prayer Book. The piece was performed by a quartet of voice students in the autumn of 2024.
